True to its word, Star’s Unmissable Turn Up was undeniable the best music concert to hold in the south-south state in recent times. From start to finish, music fans had the time of their lives.
The concert was an opportunity for Star Lager to celebrate with the people of Uyo following participation of the Shine Shine Bobo team at the unmissable match, which was part of the UEFA Champions League Tour.
The tour saw former Super Eagles’ Captain, Jay Jay Okocha lead the Shine Shine Bobo team in the Unmissable Match, at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, on the 16th of April, alongside ex-Nigerian internationals, current NPFL wave makers, Akwa United players and select consumers.
Without much ado, let's give you a recap of everything that went down:
The Concert Venue Was a Spectacle: Trust Star to put panache in everything it does. The Godswill Akpabio Stadium where the match held was transformed into a music dream land. The stage was a continuum of glamour with strands of sparkling blue lit bulbs and artworks. From the looks on the faces of the attendees, it was glaring that they were mesmerised by the glitz and glamour on the stage.
MC Galaxy Got Everyone Dancing: We all know MC Galaxy is a hot dancer with hit dance songs like Sekem and Dakada and his mastery of the Ibibio cultural dance? Amazing! Joined on stage by a cultural troupe, he ignited the ambience with his energetic and sensual moves, fetching a resounding applause from the crowd.
Duncan Mighty Can Also Dance Sha: The 'Obianuju’ crooner is not famous in the dance department but he proved us wrong when he took to stage and sampled some dance moves. From 'Shoki’, 'Azonto’ to Shakitibobo’, Mighty proved that he could do a lot more than grab the mic.
So there you have it, we definitely will be drooling over the concert for a while until the next time we have the opportunity to witness another fine blend of football and music.
